The Kingsgate Shopping Centre is Dunfermline's main indoor shopping mall containing shops such as Marks & Spencer, CEX, Game, Boots, HMV, Waterstones and The Entertainer.
The venue has several cafes and food /drink providers, such as Greggs, BB's, Starbucks, etc.
Toilets are located close to the Mini-con location.
Mobile reception is variable in the location of the Mini-Con, but Wi-Fi details will be provided for vendors who wish to use card-machines for payment. There are ATM cash machines located on the upper floor of the mall and at nearby banks in the High Street.
The venue regularly hosts Small Business Markets, which are popular with shoppers.
The Kingsgate is located near to Dunfermline's main bus station, and off the High Street.
Cosplaying as your favourite characters from books, comics, film and TV is welcomed.
A competition will be held on the day (please register at the cosplay desk by 3pm to enter). A cash prize of £50 is offered to the contestant whose costume is the judges' favourite. No alternative prize is offered. Judges' decision is final.
The finalists and winner will be announced at 3.30pm on the day of the event.

Dunfermline Mini-con is comics oriented event, and as such the majority of vendors will be expected to offer comics, comic artwork and comic related products. Table applications will be curated and successful applicants will be sent payment details by email.
Tables cost £30 and half tables are available for £15. Tables are approximately 6 feet by 2 feet in size.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 23rd November. Setup will be from 8am to 9.30am and take-down between 4pm and 5pm.
Access to the venue to drop off stock and equipment is via the loading bay on James Street. Vehicles may only park here during setup and take-down times. The venue has a multi storey car park (parking fee is NOT included in table fee), however, there is free parking available at Leys Park Road, 5 minutes walk from the venue.
Tables and chairs are provided, however vendors must bring their own table covers.
Table bookings are handled by Dunfermline Small Business Market and applications are open until October 26th.
